- DFIY2K - Enterprise & Community Y2K Contingency-Planning & Preparation
DFIY2K.org is the web-based volunteer organization behind the critical initiative, spurring appropriate contingency-planning and community preparation for the Year 2000 (Y2K) millennium computer bug problem. Organizers include Co-Founding Directors, members, and alliances of the Data Fitness Initiative & Coalition (DFIc) and online leaders such as the Ziff Davis Y2K Supersite at www.ZDY2K.COM. They also include leading information technology and Y2K technical, business and legal-risk experts such as William Ulrich, Steve Hock and Ian Hayes, Triaxsys Research, various government agencies, enterprises, and concerned citizens everywhere.

NOVA Y2K believes the most effective way to prepare for uncertain Y2K events is to work with others in the community: It takes time to set up contingency plans. By creating awareness of the risks as early as possible we will have more time to prepare and reduce the potential impact of disruptions on our community and families.
