After spending 30 years developing expertise in numerous aspects of marketing science, I created MERTEC Biomedical Communications in 1986 as a division of MERTEC Marketing, Inc. At that time, MERTEC Marketing was a ten year veteran of Hispanic marketing, advertising, merchandising, promotions, and special events. Through my work with MERTEC Marketing, I recognized the tremendous opportunities for growth in health care products and services targeted at the Hispanic market, and saw a clear need for a marketing firm specializing in this area.

The focus of MERTEC Biomedical Communications is the development of health-oriented promotions and programs for the Hispanic market. Our efforts engender healthier lifestyles and improved physical well being through public communications. We have carried out extensive research into health issues as they relate to Hispanic cultures. Now we are putting our expertise to work through the creation of marketing plans targeted at Hispanic segments, as well as the development of audio and video materials and seminars. We serve the general public, corporations, and the educational system.
